Our Services
Wellness Exams
To promote long term good health, regular checkups and vaccinations help protect your pet from common and serious diseases, as well as identify potential health issues before they become serious. Regular dental checkups done during wellness visits can prevent oral diseases, which can impact your pet’s overall health.
New Puppy / Kitten Exams
Spay/Neuter
Help prevent unwanted litters of cats and dogs and reduce the risk of certain health issues that are prevalent in animals that are not spayed or neutered. We will evaluate your pet to be sure they are healthy for surgery and provide post-operative care instructions for a smooth recovery.
Preventative Medicine
Our veterinarians will monitor your pet’s health and tailor recommendations specifically suited to your pet’s needs to protect against diseases and infestations. Providing the medication directly will ensure that you are getting quality product in the correct amount, along with guidance on its use and how to administer it. Because pets age faster than humans, we recommend annual lab testing to establish a health baseline and to detect potential disease early. Regular testing ensures that we can track changes in your pet’s health and take proactive measures to keep them healthy and happy.
In House Lab & Diagnostics
Blood tests and imaging are essential because they allow for quick and accurate assessment of your pet’s health, enabling prompt treatment. Issues like infections, organ function, gastrointestinal issues and skeletal abnormalities can be identified quickly, and treatments can be discussed and started promptly.
End of Life and Supportive Care
We understand the emotional weight of this decision and the accompanying grief. Our hospital has created a special space with separate access that is calm, supportive and prioritizes your pet’s comfort and dignity. We can assist with aftercare arrangements, including cremation, making it easier for you to handle the logistics during a challenging time.
Microchipping
Dental Care
Dental procedures, along with dental X-rays, are crucial for maintaining oral health and preventing disease. There is a direct connection between gum disease and overall general health, according to the Veterinary Oral Health Council.
Urgent Care
Quick intervention can be critical for conditions like severe vomiting, difficulty breathing, or injuries from accidents. Our veterinarians have the expertise and equipment to diagnose and treat these urgent problems effectively, which can make a significant difference in stabilizing your pet’s condition and advancing your pet’s recovery.
Medical Services
General Surgery
Our veterinarians can assess your pet’s overall health, provide anesthesia, and monitor them during and after the surgery to ensure a smooth recovery. Surgeries include mass removals, abdominal and bladder procedures, among others. Additionally, we can handle any complications that may arise and offer post-operative care instructions to support healing.
Specialty Surgery
Operations such as TPLO (to repair ACL tear) can be difficult to schedule when the veterinarian does not perform specialty surgeries. This requires taking your animal to a facility out of the area or having to wait for the traveling specialist. At our hospital, the surgery can be promptly scheduled and then the post-op care is done by our in-house doctor who performs this specialty surgery.
